At the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Napier earned recognition for revitalizing the Ragin’ Cajuns, leading them to multiple division titles and bowl game appearances. In 2021, he was named the head coach of the University of Florida football team, where he has focused on long-term program development, emphasizing recruiting, player development, and organizational structure.
