About Matías Mansilla

Matías Mansilla ( Los Juríes , Santiago del Estero , February 15, 1996) is an Argentine footballer who plays in the goalkeeper position and is currently a player for Estudiantes de La Plata , of the First Division of Argentina .

Career
He played juniors in Huracán until moving to Midland , where he would debut in 2015. In July 2020 he moved to Deportivo Morón after a conflictive departure from Midland, signing a contract until June 2023. 1​ In June 2021 he moved to Patronato on loan for a year and a half. 2 On October 30, 2022, he was crowned champion with Patronato of the 2022 Argentine Cup after beating Talleres de Córdoba 1-0 . During 2023 he played for Central Córdoba in Santiago del Estero .

At the end of January 2024, he was confirmed as a reinforcement for Estudiantes de La Plata . The club acquired 90% of his economic rights and signed a 3-year contract with him. 3 ​4

On April 30, 2024, with a consecrating performance by Mansilla, Estudiantes de La Plata qualified for the final of the 2024 Professional League Cup by saving twice in the penalty shootout and eliminating Boca Juniors. 5 ​6 ​7

On May 5 of the same year, in the final against Vélez Sarsfield , he saved 3 penalties in the final definition, playing a key role in the consecration of Estudiantes in the 2024 Professional League Cup . 8 ​9
