Joseph Eckland is a professional English cricketer currently playing as a wicket-keeper-batter for the Frankston Peninsula Cricket Club in the 2025/26 Victorian Premier Cricket season in Australia.
Joseph Eckland is a right-handed batter and wicket-keeper.
He was born in Yeovil, Somerset and is a product of Hampshire’s Academy, having progressed through the age groups.
Eckland was called up to England Under 19's in 2022 and played all three ODIs against Sri Lanka. He then travelled to Australia to play in three more ODIs for the Young Lions.
Ahead of the 2023 season, he signed a rookie contract with Hampshire.
