About Arthur Kaliyev

Arthur Kaliyev (Russian: Артур Калиев; born June 26, 2001) is an Uzbekistan-born American professional ice hockey forward for the Belleville Senators in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the second round, 33rd overall, of the 2019 NHL entry draft.

Early life
Kaliyev was born in Uzbekistan but his family moved to Staten Island, New York when he was two years old and later moved to Michigan at age 13. He represents the United States in international competition. His younger sister Elvina Kalieva, who was born in the United States, is a professional tennis player.
