About Franco Díaz

Franco Martín Díaz (born 28 August 2000) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a midfielder for Instituto (C) on loan from Vélez Sarsfield.

Career
Raised in the youth sector of Temperley, he was loaned to Sp. Barracas in 2020, with whom he played his first professional match on February 26 against Gimnasia (LP) in the Copa Argentina. Back at Temperley, on 18 June 2021 he scored the first goal of his career in the Primera B Nacional match lost 3-2 against Almirante Brown.

On 12 January 2022, he was signed outright by Vélez Sarsfield, with whom he made his debut the following month in a 2–0 win over Aldosivi in the Copa de la Liga Profesional. On 2 January 2023, he was loaned for a season to Platense, where he played 40 matches and scored one goal.

On January 7, 2024, he went on loan to Newell's Old Boys.

On 5 August 2024, he moved to the Instituto (C) on a temporary basis.
