About Kieran Smith

Kieran Smith is an American swimmer from Ridgefield, Connecticut. He qualified for the 2020 Olympic Games in the 400m Freestyle and 200m Freestyle. Smith attends University of Florida where he set the American and NCAA record in the 500 Free in a time of 4:06.32 at the 2020 SEC Championships. On July 25, 2021, Smith won a bronze medal in the 400 meter freestyle at the 2020 Summer Olympics, finishing in 3:43.94.
