About Jorge Alcala

Jorge Luis Alcalá (born July 28, 1995) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Minnesota Twins.
Alcalá signed with the Houston Astros as an international free agent in December 2014. He made his professional debut in 2015 with the Dominican Summer League Astros, going 2–0 with a 3.06 ERA in 32.1 innings pitched.
On September 14, 2019, the Twins selected Alcalá's contract and promoted him to the major leagues.
