About Garrett Cooper

Garrett Nicholas Cooper (born December 25, 1990) is an American professional baseball first baseman and right fielder in the Chicago Cubs organization. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees, Miami Marlins, and San Diego Padres. Cooper was an All-Star in 2022.

On April 27, 2024, Cooper was traded from the Chicago Cubs to the Boston Red Sox in exchange for cash considerations.
