About Patrik Laine

Patrik Laine (Finnish pronunciation: ; born 19 April 1998) is a Finnish professional ice hockey winger. Laine formerly played in his native Finland with Tappara in the Finnish Liiga before he was taken with the second overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the Winnipeg Jets.

On August 19, 2024 he was traded from Columbus to Montreal along with a second-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft for defenseman Jordan Harris.
