About Marcos Ramirez

Marcos Ramírez Fernández (born 16 December 1997) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing for American Racing in the 2024 Moto2 World Championship.
A former Red Bull MotoGP Rookie, Ramirez is another Spanish talent looking to make the leap from CEV frontrunner to Moto3™ serious contender, after a second place in the Moto3™ Junior World Championship in 2016 and 19 points scored in the Moto3™ World Championship after lining up from mid-season - including two top ten finishes, in Phillip Island and Sepang. For 2017 Ramirez remained with Platinum Bay Real Estate and made a big impression, taking two podiums and more top results. He took another two podiums in 2018, and now moves to Leopard Racing to put together a challenge at the front.
