About Kaito Toba

Kaito Toba, from Japan, won the Asia Talent Cup in 2014 in its inaugural year before moving onto the Red Bull Rookies Cup and FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship in 2015. After a podium in the Rookies Cup that year, 2016 saw Toba race in both series once again, with wins and podiums in both. For 2017, the Japanese rider joined Honda Team Asia in the Moto3™ World Championship, and had an up and down year but some solid showings. He stays with them for 2019.
