About Alex Gilbey

Alexander Scott Gilbey (born 9 December 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for EFL League Two club Milton Keynes Dons.
Gilbey progressed through the Colchester United Academy, breaking into the first-team in 2012. He featured for Newport County on loan during 2013 when the club achieved promotion back to the Football League via the Conference play-offs. He made over 120 appearances for Colchester before joining Wigan in June 2016.
