About Alex Whitmore

Alexander James Whitmore (born 7 September 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays for Fylde, as a central defender.
After playing youth football with Wallsend Boys Club, Whitmore turned professional with Burnley in 2014, and spent loan spells at Chester, Gateshead, Morecambe and Bury. He signed for current club Chesterfield in January 2018.
