About Cody Franson

Cody Franson (born August 8, 1987) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing for Avangard Omsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Franson was drafted in the third round, 79th overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Franson has also played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Buffalo Sabres and Chicago Blackhawks.
