About Kevin Shattenkirk

Kevin Michael Shattenkirk (born January 29, 1989) is an American retired professional ice hockey defenseman. He previously played for the Colorado Avalanche, St. Louis Blues, Washington Capitals, New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning. He was drafted in the first round, 14th overall, at the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Avalanche and made his NHL debut with them in 2010. Shattenkirk won the Stanley Cup as a member of the Lightning in 2020.

On December 10, 2024 retired from playing hockey.
