About Andrei Markov

Andrei « Le Générale » Viktorovich Markov born 20 December 1978) is a Russian-Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for Ak Bars Kazan of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He formerly played from 2000 to 2017 with the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He holds both Russian and Canadian citizenship.
