About Slava Voynov

Vyacheslav "Slava" Leonidovich Voynov born 15 January 1990 is a Russian professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played for SKA Saint Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), while also being suspended by the National Hockey League (NHL). The Los Angeles Kings terminated Voynov's six-year, $25-million contract in 2015 but retained his rights. Voynov was selected by the Kings in the second round, 32nd overall, of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
